HabitGrid · Effective 28 August 2026
Something not working, or an idea for what HabitGrid should do next? Write to us — the same person who builds the app reads the mail.
We aim to reply within two business days. It helps if you include the version of HabitGrid (shown at the bottom of the app’s Settings screen) and your iOS version. Tapping Send Feedback in Settings fills all of that in for you.
Common questions
My habits aren’t syncing between devices
Check that iCloud Sync is turned on in HabitGrid’s Settings on every device — it is off by default. All devices must also be signed in to the same Apple Account, and iCloud Drive must be enabled in Settings → [your name] → iCloud. The first sync can take a few minutes and needs an internet connection.
Where is my data stored?
On your device. If you turn on iCloud Sync, a copy also lives in the private area of your own iCloud account, which we cannot read. The Privacy Policy explains this in full.
Can I move my data to a new phone, or take a backup?
Yes. Use Export Habits in Settings to save a file, and Import Habits on the other device to load it. Turning on iCloud Sync does the same thing automatically.
I’m not getting reminders
Open Settings → HabitGrid → Notifications on your device and make sure notifications are allowed. Also check that Focus or Do Not Disturb is not filtering them out.
How do I delete everything?
Deleting the app removes the data stored on the device. If you used iCloud Sync, also remove the app’s data in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. See Deleting your data.
